    Darts

I'm only a very casual darts fan but I saw Brendan Dolan's 2nd round match and he was pretty poor despite getting the win. Comes up against a top player today in Johnny Clayton, who won his last match 3-0.

First to 4 sets today and I'm backing Clayton on the -2.5 handicap. Odds vary from 10/11 to 6/5 (Betway).

A 4-1 win for Clayton there. All sets were very close but small margins is all it takes in darts.

PDC World Darts starts tomorrow. Paddy Power sponsoring for the first time, so they might have some offers and specials going.

Luke Humphries definitely the form player of the last few months. Hope he goes well but 3/1 is just a bit short for me here. It's quite open this year I think.

I've backed Rob Cross at 16/1 as someone to cheer on. Also 11/4 to win his quarter (quarter 1).

Great tournament so far with such a high standard. Quarter-finals tomorrow.

Rob Cross still in it and takes on Chris Dobey who has probably been the best player up to now. But Dobey can get a touch nervy so Cross should have chances.

16-year-old Luke Littler is top quality. Genuinely could win it.

In the bottom half of the draw, I'm hoping Van Gerwen and Humphries win through to face each other in the semi-finals. That'd be a class match

For a little interest tomorrow, Dobey vs Cross: Total 180s over 21.5 @ 2/1.

Dobey went 4-0 up, playing great, then Rob Cross comes back to win 5-4! First time ever a player has lost from 4-0 up in the Worlds.

27 180s in the match, so a winner there. But it took the full quota of nine sets to get there. Probably not a good bet but I'll take it.

Rob Cross won his quarter for an 11/4 winner. But then beaten in the semis.

    Class final last night.
