I doubt very much anything I post is likely to cause any moves in the market other than to lengthen a price!

However, I simply have to stick with OLIVERS TRAVELS tomorrow in the second race at Worcester, currently at 7/1 (B365).
I have mentioned before why I was tracking the horse, and although yet to really prove his worth over the larger obstacles, I do think the step up in trip will suit. I think he looks quite a game sort, though you cannot dismiss some alarming mistakes at times!
However the horse won a Maiden hurdle on the course over this trip last September, and also won a bumper at the course last June. 2/2 at Worcester, "ossses for courses" and all that!!
The Bowens runners still seem to be running quite well of late, so happy to stick with the boy at a potentially generous price.

His jumping does need to improve but it should over time. And perhaps the first time cheekpieces helped a bit.
That Cuzco du Mathan form doesnt look too bad either.

I was just gonna type that Byzantine Empire was top price 7's in a few places but only with Mickey Mouse firms like Betway and Boylesports. But i've just looked again and theres only Betway 7's now.

I can feel an "ouch" coming on.

Well i fecked that right up there.

The one for the future, Byzantine Empire, is backed from 25/1 down to 13/2 and wins.
And the other one for the future, Sergeant, pushed him all the way to the line and finishes second. And everyone has seen it now.

The best race on the card at Uttoxeter on Sunday is the three and a quarter mile chase at 2.55 but i am gonna give it a miss. Reason - there are ten runners but six of them are outside of the handicap and not just by a pound or two so i am going to swerve it.

The Rancid Post have screwed up again. In the Uttoxeter 5.25 race, they have Jacobs Acre down as wearing a first time tongue tie. That is utter bollocks !!! The horse has wore a tongue tie every time it has run. The horse is actually wearing a first time hood.

It might not mean much to some people but others do take it into consideration.
