I see that trainer is in fine form - 3 winners and 3 thirds from his last 6 runners.
Two out of two at Roscommon last night. The only one of his that hasnt gone close in the last couple of weeks is one of those entered on Monday.
Lets see what the decs bring.

p.s. He has three entered at Killarney on Friday night. I will try and make a point of watching them.

My point was that Seb is the exception as is clearly evident in link I posted.

They piled into it late at Perth one evening earlier in the summer and it plummeted from 16/1 down to 11/4 near the off before settling at 4/1. It had every chance turning for home with two to jump but faded out of it late on. This gambling stable will definitely be trying to get their money back one day, i have no doubt about that.
The Perth race was a 20f hurdle - today 11f flat. … usually runs on flat over 15f or 16f but has one over 11f Kempton - the application of cash is all we could go by I think 11/1 at the moment.

A few crossed wires here methinks.
I was meaning that i dont give a shit what James Doyle said. He dropped his hands and he can say what he likes but he will never convince me otherwise.
And i totally agree with Seb Sanders. I think you all know that i dont listen to any pundit or presenter, i dont rate any of them, and i didnt hear what he said but i have read his comments and it is refreshing to hear such words. I dont think it will go down too well in the racing fraternity but tough shit. If nobody is allowed to speak their mind, and at the same time speak the truth, what is the point of having anyone in the studio ?
Well done Seb is what i say.

I dont suppose connections give a shit where they land a gamble. And wont care if it is flat or jumps. Just as long as they recoup their money from the failed gamble and at the same time, relieve the fraudsters of a wedge of cash. I havent got a clue if they are going for it today and have absolutely no intention of getting involved. But i will watch the betting closely throughout the day and will make a point of watching the race.

Our "friend" () from last time out, Detective, runs today in the last race at Carlisle. The race is part of the Jockey Club Grassroots One Mile Qualifiers.....................run over 6f and 195yds ????????

On a serious note, one of its best runs of last season was in this corresponding race. I have it down as really wanting a bit further but the run last season, off a mark of 77 and against much better opposition than this, makes me think it is not a forlorn hope after all. Five of its opponents were rated 80 and above, this year only one is. And the bottom weight last year was rated 73. This year it has five opponents rated from 72 all the way down to 61.

But its on the flat. I havent bothered but i'll give you all one guess who has.

  7. 1 Thanks from:

    I Doubt That

12/1 in Powers when I left house to do it eway - 9/1 when I got to shop so I hit it straight on the nose.

Good luck. I was never gonna back it myself although i would have had a look at the race if it had been over hurdles. If they are really going for it i would expect it to collapse again nearer the off.
I'll keep an eye on it.

I dont know how long this has been available, perhaps someone on here might know, but there is a link on Attheraces now where you can see the price history of each and every horse from 6am this morning and you can check it by individual bookmakers. This was a useful tool on Oddschecker until they started charging a tenner a month for it and for many people like myself, there is absolutely no need ever to use Oddschecker again.

Greed will get them all in the end.

Agreed. Lets hope the improved interaction continues. It doesnt have to be tips/selections. It would be nice to hear someone else have a rant for a change. Or just a view or an opinion. We all have them !
The jump season will be getting into full swing soon and i might be about more but it would be nice to have a gang of us posting.

Well it wasn’t looking too good after the 3.50 - I am still going to keep that one … might be a hurdle where they have a go - but I stuck with Mrs Crossett and got out of trouble thanks to a nice bit of detective work - Cheers QC.
